Nike Lunar Blazer – Black / Cement

Published on April 24, 2013 by in Kool Kicks

Tweet Okay, we’ll admit that there’s a lot going on here. Not only has Nike taken one of the most iconic shoes in history, the Nike Blazer, and fused it with Nike Lunar technology, but this particular pair dons a classic print, which we first saw on the Air Jordan 3. The sneaker is built from black leather, while wolf grey is applied to the  tongue, inner-lining and Lunarlon midsole. The design is tied together by the black-on-grey elephant print, which makes its way onto the forefoot and ankle. No word yet as to the shoe’s availability, but we’ll keep you updated. Let us not forget that the original Air Jordan 1 is nicknamed “Banned” because the NBA forbade Michael Jordan to wear the shoe due to its “extravagant” color scheme. Out of necessity, the White/Black-Red colorway was created. Michigan’s Fab Five created one of the most memorable moments in the sneaker culture when they all wore black Nike Air Force Max sneakers
