Over the years, their bitter rivalry has spawned merchandise ranging from the Red Sox’s “Yankees Suck” t-shirts to the Yankees’s “Fack Bawston” memorabilia. But, in the wake of last week’s Boston Marathon bombings, things have lightened up between the two storied franchises. While Beantown is still recovering from the attack that left three dead and over a hundred injured, Nike is also backing off on the heated feud by quickly removing all of the “Boston Massacre” shirts from their factory outlet stores and online retailers like Fanatics.
