Claire’s Life: Ibiza’s International Music Summit Day 3
Are you tired of my Style Diaries yet? Well this one will be short and sweet;) Last night, before heading to see Da Banda perform at Savannah Beach Club (a must visit for spectacular sunsets), I decided to try the gladiator trend on for size for a walk by the ocean. My footwear of choice? Stuart Weitzman knee high flats, which I paired with a Diane von Furstenberg snake print dress and white blazer (I literally have had this dress forever. Here’s a pic of Christina Milian wearing it back in 2007). I shielded the rays in a pair of old school inspired Cazal sunglasses. Then headed to Savannah to enjoy the night’s festivities. New Balance “Camo” Pack (New Images)
While we’ve gotten a pretty good look at the 574, the New Balance 501 from their current “Camo” Pack has remained a bit of a mystery. While each of the three sneakers included in the drop feature a military inspired design (perfect for Memorial Day), the 501 stands alone with it’s neutral color scheme. Saving the “flash” for the lace panel alone, New Balance chose to go with Slate Grey for this particular design, instead of the traditional Olive Green. The two New Balance 574 pictured above have been seen a few times on the site, both here and here. Each one is adorned with a beautiful camo print, with your choice of Fluorescent Orange or Tan as the accent colors. Everyone is trying on Kenzo’s forest printed pieces for size and now Fergie has joined the bunch! Her cotton-blend trousers are just one iteration of the colorful lots of designs. Last, but not least are her pumps which take on the season’s hot cap-toe trend, boasting 4″ heels with decorative collar detailing. While Dawn originally sported the topper with $275 Coco and Breezy Thema Sunglasses in Yellow and Black, black jeans, and Versace Resort 2011 Rope and Leather Sandals, this time around she opted for an updo and a Merlin Castell skirt. The cropped sweatshirt features a ribbed neckline and bold lettering. Though both looks are cute, I think Dawn’s first ensemble is a bit more fitting for the playful nature of the piece.
