A handful of NBA players have switched sneaker logos, but only a select few have signed with brands based in Asia. Following the breaking news of Dwyane Wade’s jump from Jordan Brand to Li-Ning, we recount the list of hoopers who’ve collected footwear paychecks from the Pacific.

Three-point specialist and sideline dance extraordinaire Damon Jones became the first active NBA star to ink with a Chinese sportswear company back in 2006. A two-year deal with Li-Ning didn’t see a signature shoe, but it did pave the way for others.
