DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University opens its spring football practice campaign on Tuesday, March 27 at 4 p.m. inside O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium.
Under the direction of second-year head football coach Henry Frazier III, the Eagles will partake in 15 practices, capped by the spring game on Friday, April 20 at 6 p.m. inside O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium. Admission is free.
In Tuesday’s opening practice, the Eagles will not be equipped with full pads, just helmets as part of the acclimation period. The weekly practice schedule is Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 4 p.m., and Saturday at 9 a.m. (March 31 at 2 p.m.).
NCCU opens its second season as a full NCAA Division I (FCS) member on Sept. 1 when the Eagles host Fayetteville State at 6 p.m.
