Staff report BUFFALO, N.Y. — Anytime a team sends 14 batters to the plate in an inning and seven in a row reach base, the opposition is going to have a difficult time recovering. That’s exactly what the Durham Bulls did in the fifth inning Saturday night at Buffalo, cruising to a 12-6 victory over the Bisons in the opening game of the series. Tim Becham, Jesus Feliciano and Henry Wrigley had three hits each for the Bulls, who finished with 16. The Bulls pitching was equally as strong, as Alex Torres (3-3) threw five innings to pick up the win, giving up two hits and striking out six.
